Assignment comments should be tied to the assignment, like commenting on a blog post. The comments should not traverse every assignment in a course, like a community feed.

This makes it very confusing for students who have to scroll through old comments on every assignment to see if there is new information. And makes for poor interaction as they are trying to find their assignments as it clutters the page.
